Description

Wave Radio is Dr Grays Hospital Broadcasting Service and is run completely by volunteers and is funded entirely by donations. We are looking for volunteers who may be interested in any of our presenter slots. We are looking for volunteers who have an interest in specific musical genre (i.e./Classical, show tunes, soul etc. ) These programmes can be pre-recorded for broadcast at a later time. We are also looking for volunteers with a wide musical taste for our breakfast, afternoon and early evening programmes. No previous radio experience is required as full training will be given.

Organisation aims and objectives

Provide entertainment for the patients of the hospital. Gather requests and chat with patients.

2 hours per Week. Minimum Commitment: 2 Week perferred times are between 8am - 10pm.
