Description

Volunteers will properly trained for various tasks in retail, thus building their confidence for returning to the workforce and meeting new people daily. Roles include:

  • Book volunteer (to sort, price and merchandise our book depts)
  • Till operator, responsible for customer service and cash handling
  • Back of house support staff, duties include steaming, tagging, pricing of stock
    -Gift Aid expert, processing and tagging gift aid stock

On top of building confidence and skill, we also offer a range of benefits to our volunteering team including, 25% discount on donated stock, free breakfast club, free period products, full training, reasonable travel expenses paid, access to our benefits hub to get discounts at local retailers and free support through our EAP.
