Angus Talking Newspaper Association produce a monthly CD of recorded news from local press which is distributed to our members who have visual impairments. This service is run by volunteers and provides a really worthwhile resource for members. We are urgently looking for a volunteer who can use a laptop and can spare approximately 3 hours once a month on the second Monday of the month. At present we meet in a meeting room at Brechin City Football Club but the venue can be flexible. We read and record local news which Is put on to CDs and USB sticks and sent out free of charge to blind and visually impaired listeners. Training will be given. The recordings are carried out monthly so a monthly time commitment of 1 - 2 hours is required. Weekdays

Restrictions

Experience required: Our IT volunteers need a basic grasp of IT to ensure successful recording of our service.
Travel details: We are looking for an IT volunteer to provide support, particularly in the Brechin area. The opportunity will take place once a month for roughly an hour.
