Description

Heart to Heart: bringing hope to those affected by divorce or separation. Due to an increase in demand for the service and geographic expansion, we have opportunities for you to support adults who are recovering from divorce and separation in your local area. Working alongside other volunteers you could be involved with a 6 week group support addressing key areas to help improve mental health and wellbeing of our clients. Alternatively, there are opportunities to deliver individual support to adults and a specific support programme for parents that runs in parallel with H2H, our youth arm. Over 80% of our clients are suffering some form of depression when they register with us and it is essential to be able to provide support for them swiftly, that’s why we need you! Full training is given, expenses reimbursed and we cover all areas in Stirling – and beyond! We ask for a commitment from you to us and our ethos and a personal understanding of the issues of divorce / separation. There is also an opening on the Board of Trustees for a person with senior management, fundraising and financial experience.
