This position is at A&E in the main hospital at ARI. It involves making tea and coffee and taking it round different parts of the department, with other refreshments.

It gives you an opportunity to meet and talk to different people and help. It is very rewarding and people really appreciate your being there.

Royal Voluntary Service is one of the largest voluntary organisations and much of our work is supporting older people. We provide practical solutions to the everyday problems of loneliness and isolation.

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Any relevant out of pocket expenses are re-imbursed e.g.: you get a mileage allowance if you use your own transport and bus tickets are re-imbursed every month for volunteers who use the bus.
Training details: Good support is provided to all volunteers. Including induction to the hospital project, what happens daily, health and hygiene, health and safety.
