Description

Trustees are expected to attend meetings, and take an active part in the discussions and decision-making. The Trustees are expected to use their skills or experience to assist in carrying out the governance function, and to keep up to date with new legislation, employmer's responsibilites or current trends.

Organisation aims and objectives

We support people throughout the Stirling Council Area who have early-moderate stage dementia to stay connected to their communities by offering a variety of support services. We run Day Clubs, Friendship groups and a Befriending service. We rely on kind hearted volunteers to help our small staff base to run the service. We have a variety of volunteering opportunities which are both enjoyable and rewarding.

Over 18
Experience required: Induction training for the organisation will be provided but knowledge of the responsibilities of trustees is required.
Travel details: Trustee meetings are held monthly [10 per year] at Stirling Baptist Church
Minimum age: 18
