Raising awareness of Town Break and its services within your own community by distributing leaflets and posters. The are awareness raiser will also revisit venues to renew and replenish materials at regular intervals. From time to time the awareness raiser will also be given information to distribute to promote any specific events happening at Town Break.
This role is flexible and on average would take only 4-6 hours per month. All training will be provided.
We support people throughout the Stirling Council Area who have early-moderate stage dementia to stay connected to their communities by offering a variety of support services. We run Day Clubs, Friendship groups and a Befriending service. We rely on kind hearted volunteers to help our small staff base to run the service. We have a variety of volunteering opportunities which are both enjoyable and rewarding.
Experience required: All training will be provided.
Travel details: Throughout the area chosen by the awareness raiser.

Training details: Training about the work of Town Break and the role of the area awareness raiser will be provided prior to the start of the role.
