Local area development support

  • VO35627

Gardenshare Stirling is keen to develop in local areas throughout Stirling Council area. In order to do this, volunteers are needed to promote the scheme locally, making the most of their own networks, knowledge of local areas. As the project grows it is anticipated that more people will register and that support will be needed with administering the project. This includes speaking with people registering on the scheme and taking their details, recording these in a database and mapping them. It will also include matching people and supporting them in getting the sharing going.

Organisation aims and objectives

Gardenshare Stirling matches people who want to garden but who don't have access to a garden of their own with people who have a garden, some or all of which they can't manage or are willing to share for other reasons.
