Description

We have 4 local groups based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Tayside and Grampian. Volunteers can join these groups and carry out tasks such as drystane dyking, footpath construction, woodland management and fencing, and to receive training in these.

Organisation aims and objectives

The National Trust for Scotland is the conservation charity that protects and promotes Scotland's natural and cultural heritage. Volunteers play a vital role in this work, ensuring that our historic buildings and our natural environment are preserved for present and future generations to enjoy.

Restrictions

Experience required: No skills and experience necessary. A willingness to work in the outdoors and interest in the environment.
Travel details: All over Scotland at NTS properties. Minibus travel from pre-arranged pick-up points.
Minimum age: 16
