Organisation aims and objectives

The Stirling School of English provides English tuition at all levels to small groups of non-English speakers. Training and support will be provided. Being, or having been a teacher is not necessary, as appropriate training will be given.

Restrictions

Experience required: Volunteers should have a good knowledge of English, ideally a love to teach and see people develop, commitment and an open mind to work with foreigners and ethnic minorities.
Travel details: Classes/groups take place in the Rock Centre and Wallace High School at the moment. Monday: 10-12.30 Conversation classes Tuesday: 10-12.30 Social and vocational English Wednesday: 10-12.30 Social and vocational English Wallace High School Classes Tuesday: 6.30-8.30 Social and vocational English Thursday: 6.30-8.30 Writing Class & Academic English/IELTS
Minimum age: 18

Training details: Induction and training provided, then pairing with a current tutor, ongoing support available at all times.
