Description

During COVID-19, we have adapted the transport service to provide support to help older people attend healthcare appointments, including GP appointments, hospital clinics, chiropody and dental appointments. Volunteers will be given PPE, guidance and ongoing support in this role.

Organisation aims and objectives

The project aims to implement preventative approaches to ensure that older people have a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle that will ease the demand on services and contribute to the wellbeing of communities.
