Ladywell Neighbourhood Network aims to promote social welfare, in the Ladywell, Eliburn and Howden areas of Livingston, by providing volunteer good neighbours or any other appropriate facility to people who are in need of assistance.

Organisation aims and objectives

LNN works with those who are affected by being socially isolated which is often due to age, disability or illness but could also be because you are new to the area, you have young children or are a single parent. They offer a number of services and activities which are open to all who are interested.

Experience required: Friendly, enjoy working with people, trustworthy and cheerful.
Travel details: Various.
Minimum age: 18

Support

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: Mileage is paid at 35p per mile or public transport rates. Volunteers will be reimbursed weekly by arrangement with individual volunteer.
Training details: Initial induction training will cover familiarising with policies and proceedures. Ongoing training will be offered as available. Support will be offered in regular small meetings and one to one meetings with supervisor.
