Support to local food co-ops and providing a fresh fruit service to schools.

Opportunities to assist in customer service at food co-op base, community outlets and through Foodbank Base.

Good support is provided to all volunteers. Induction and start up training. All volunteer help is greatly appreciated

Organisation aims and objectives

CFINE improves health and well-being and the environment, tackles poverty and builds resilience through a range of support and services for and with disadvantaged, vulnerable, low-income individuals, families and communities in NE Scotland.

Frequency and commitment details

Flexible times and days available to suit volunteers.

None
Experience required: Ability to deal with members of the public. Good numeracy skills. Pleasant and friendly.
Travel details: Based in Poynernook Road with outlets across the city
Minimum age: 16

Expenses details: Any relevant out of pocket expenses are re-imbursed e.g.: bus fares.
Training details: Good support is provided to all volunteers. Induction and start up training. All volunteer help is greatly appreciated and volunteers receive certificates in recognition of the help they provide.
