Advocacy Service Aberdeen supports people to have more control We do this by encouraging and assisting people to express their own views and feelings and ensuring that they are heard. We also help people to find information on options and choices that are open to people.
Experience required: Good listener, empathetic, respectful of other people’s views, confident.
Travel details: Generally 9-5 Monday to Friday as advocacy usually happens during ‘office hours’. Area is Aberdeen City. There are two Advocacy offices: Willowbank House and Cornhill Hospital.

Training details: Good training and support is provided to all volunteers. Volunteer will be PVG-Protection of Vulnerable Groups checked (volunteers will get registration of the scheme for free) and receive full training and on-going support
