Take clients out and about on outings, mainly assisting with pushing wheelchair users

Ability Shetland supports the efforts of disabled people to realise their full potential in all areas of life. In addition to providing advice and information to service users and service providers, Ability Shetland runs a variety of clubs and recreational activities throughout the year.

Restrictions

Experience required: Sociable / reliable / non-judgemental
Travel details: We would meet at a venue e.e Museum and Archives
Minimum age: 18

Support

Expenses details: 33p per mile
Training details: Introduction to the Club. Trial session to pop along the Club and meet members. Volunteer can meet with Disability Shetland Staff or Committee for support.
