  • VO30424

Description

The voluntary position would be for as many or as little shifts as the volunteer felt able to do - serving beverages and home-made baking, washing and tidying up, dealing with sales of Fairtrade and commission goods and, also on occasions, donated goods. Always working with one other volunteer.

Organisation aims and objectives

Common Grounds is a charity coffee shop and Fair Trade outlet run by volunteers raising money to fund self-help projects mainly in Africa. Projects cover education, health and agriculture. We also provide an outlet for locally made craftwork and have an extensive selection of second-hand books. A warm welcome is always guaranteed from our volunteers and our log fire.
