Description

You would be helping by telling others about the amazing work of the charity, and inspiring them to also get involved. Your aim would be to inspire others to support the fight against heart disease by offering their financial or volunteer support. You will encourage people to sign up to take part in out fundraising campaigns like Be a part of Red of Heart and join us as volunteer fundraisers raising funs in their local community. You will be part of a netwrok of enthusiatic Volunteer Speakers who play a major role in raising the profile of the charity locally, promoting our fundraising initiatives to a diverse range of audiences.

Experience required: If you have experience of public speaking or would like to gain some, this role will suit you. We are looking for people from a variety of backgrounds, who can connect and confidently engage with others in group situations. Strong communication skills wil

Training details: Initially you would be accompanied by either the FVM or another experienced volunteer speaker when on speakingengagements. You would have close lonks with your FVM, Regional Office and other local BHF volunteers.
