Become a radio presenter as a volunteer on Regal Radio.

Do you like music? Do you have good communication skills? Can you spare 2 hours per week? Do you attend fundraising events? Do you like working as part of a team? Would you like to help your local community? Have you ever wanted to be on the radio? Then we would love to hear from you. We are currently looking for volunteers to become reserve radio presenters to cover holidays and unexpected absences. This role may also involve pre-recording shows. If you think you are interested in joining our charity then we want to hear from you.

Interested in radio? Why not volunteer as a Radio Presenter. Volunteers will be given a minimum of 4 weeks training to learn how to use equipment and software. They then will go on to do a few shows with a current presenter and then go on to host there own show.

Wave Radio is a broadcasting service for the wellbeing of patients at Dr Gray’s Hospital -- and by broadcasting online, they aim to bring the community into the hospital and the hospital into the community. This volunteering opportunity is also a great one if you have a love in music. They are not just looking for people to present on air, but would also welcome people who have a bit of spare time to catalogue music or music production. For people interested in any of their presenter slots, please know these programmes can be pre-recorded for broadcast at a later time. Right now, volunteers can do their shows from home, through the studios at Dr. Grays. Volunteers who have an interest in specific musical genre (i.e./Classical, show tunes, soul etc. ) or have a wide musical taste can find out more about how to help with their breakfast, afternoon and early evening programmes.
