Description

Museum Assistants do not need railway knowledge:their role is to welcome visitors and ensure that neither the collection nor its visitors comes to harm. We supply detailed guidance and training on every aspect of this straightforward and rewarding role. Why not help us to keep our railway heritage alive?

Providing access to the Museum of Scottish Railways is a satisfying experience. The Museum adjacent to Bo'ness Station provides public access to some of the gems of our collection of locomotives, carriages and wagons. The museum is open from April till the end of October. Each year over 15,000 visitors enjoy the Museum displays.
