The opportunity now arises to get involved with our Scout Troop, backed by an enthusiastic committee and good funding. Working with youngsters both in the hall and outside activities. Enjoy your spare time in being involved in doing something different. You will feel useful and also be learning news skills!

The Scout Association offers everyday adventure and activity to almost 400,000 young people across the UK. The Movement is the largest co-educational youth organisation in the world,with over 28 million members in 216 countries and territories. In the UK Scouting is organised through The Scout Association and has a clear purpose:To help young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals,as responsible citizens and as members of the local, national and international communities.

Restrictions

Experience required: Need to be patient and able to have a good sense of humour. Some craft skills and if possible and scouting experience.

Training details: The Scout Association run local training courses. The local, district and area training teams keep checking on progress. Helpers are to hand.
