Description

We are currently seeking individuals with an interest in making a difference, to support the development and continued sustainability of the centre. Whilst we would especially invite applications from those with a background in law, we would also encourage interest from individuals from wide ranging and diverse backgrounds.

The board currently meet every other month for around 2hrs, Meetings are held in the morning but there is flexibility around this. The Board currently meets remotely but this may change.

This is a voluntary unpaid position.

Dundee North Law Centre is a long established charity offering free legal advice and representation to clients living in deprived communities within Dundee at court and at Housing and Benefit tribunals in Dundee. Our mission is to address areas of unmet legal need, alleviate poverty and maximise the income of our clients. We are a charitable company limited by guarantee

Restrictions

Experience required: We would invite applications from individuals with a background in law, however we also encourage individuals from a diverse and wide ranging background and skill set. If you’re not sure get in touch.
Minimum age: 18

Training details: Training will be pertinent to the role of trustee.
