Can you support someone who is feeling isolated in the Scottish Borders?

re:discover volunteers support people, over the phone or in person, who are experiencing loneliness and isolation and want to improve their mental health and wellbeing by:

Exploring social activities and opportunities.
Supporting them to be in touch with others.
Helping them to feel more confident.

Organisation aims and objectives

Health in Mind promotes positive mental health and wellbeing in Scotland. Our team of professional support staff and committed volunteers work in partnership to deliver a unique and wide ranging mix of individual and group support services.

Restrictions

Experience required: Lived experience of mental health issues welcome but not essential.
Travel details: In the Scottish Borders.
Minimum age: 18
