Increase confidence building through sharing an interest and regularly meeting in the community or by videocall.
Some note taking involved.
Good verbal communication with mum and volunteer coordinator by video, text, phone or email.
Time 4 Mum focusses on helping isolated parents and carers explore what is available to them in their local area. With the support of a volunteer parent/carers are encouraged to identify and try out an activity or hobby on a weekly basis until they are confident to attend without support and have built networks of their own.
1:1 support - doing activities with children both at home & local community which provides regular respite for parent/carers. You will build children’s confidence & social skills & you will both have fun in the process. You can work alongside experienced staff if you want to gain experience in child care.
