We use our website to help the charity to promote our cause and show the various things we do to raise funds, it also shows the stories of the dogs and cats at the shelter which currently stands at 400 dogs and 100 cats.

All monies raised by Friends of Bianca go to fund food, veterinary help and anything else required by the shelter by attending fetes, holding a charity shop once a year, being godparent to one of the dogs or cats at the shelter.

We are looking for someone with website experience to update on a monthly basis at anytime convenient to yourself.

You can work from your own computer and this is a very worthwhile voluntary position to help these badly neglected animals.

If you are interested please contact me (Linda Allan, CEO Trustee) on email info@friendsofbianca.org and I will get back to you straight away.

Organisation aims and objectives

Friends of Bianca is an Aberdeen based charity founded in 2011 and run by Trustees and volunteers to provide desperately needed support for a shelter for severely abused and neglected dogs and cats in Portugal. Bianca Associacao is a Portuguese charity, run solely by volunteers, which annually rescues, cares for and re-homes, all over Europe, 600 abandoned dogs and cats, many arriving in terrible condition. Portugal does not have national animal welfare organisations such as the RSPCA, PDSA, Dogs Trust, Cat Protection League etc and without charities like Bianca, many of these poor creatures would simply starve or suffer a painful death from treatable injuries or diseases. Because Bianca is run exclusively by unpaid volunteers, 100% of all monies donated goes directly to helping the animals.
