Fresh Start Pantry Leader

This role provides support to the volunteers in Fresh Start Pantry, such as responding to requests and suggestions, assisting the Hub Team Leader in hosting team meetings, coordinating attendance and providing practical support where it is needed. This role includes responsibility for key holding and cash handling, a level of previous retail experience is an advantage.

Organisation aims and objectives

Fresh start runs a service for people who have experienced homelessness and have recently been offered a tenancy of their own. With the assistance of volunteers, Fresh Start offers both practical and emotional support through a variety of integrated services that are intended to help people manage the transition to independent living and to prevent the cyclical nature of homelessness.










4 hour shift once a week for minimum of 4 months


Experience required: Leadership skills and enthusiasm A good team worker and able to engage well with others Reliable and punctual Willing to learn and be flexible Helpful and willing to engage with the community and customers in an inclusive way In good health and physically active
Travel details: Fresh Start Pantry is located at 26-28 Ferry Road Drive These Bus lines stop near Ferry Road Drive: 113, 21, 37, 47.
