Falkirk Community Hospital - COVID19

We are looking for volunteers to assist with meeting visitors to the Falkirk Community Hospital.

Visiting is now permitted in hospitals and healthcare settings from Monday 13 July 2020. All visits are by prior arrangement and take place from 9am until 5pm daily.

Volunteers will support NHS staff by monitoring the access and greeting visitors. They will ask if visitors have any Covid-19 symptoms, check the time of the pre-arranged appointment, ask them to sanitise their hands and ensure they are wearing a face covering before directing them to the ward.

PPE can be provided as well as a volunteer tshirt. Social distancing (2m) must be used at all times.

The project is co-ordinated by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) but we welcome volunteers from younger age groups. RSVP is a project delivered by the national volunteering charity, Volunteering Matters.

For any further information contact Rosemary Fletcher on 0737 929 6087
