Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre - COVID19

We are looking for volunteers to assist with meeting visitors to the Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre.

Visiting is now permitted in hospitals and healthcare settings from Monday 13 July 2020. All visits are by prior arrangement and are currently restricted to afternoons between 1p.m. and 4p.m.

Volunteers will support NHS staff by monitoring the entrance doors and greeting visitors. They will ask if visitors have any Covid-19 symptoms, ask them to sanitise their hands and ensure they are wearing a face covering before directing them to the ward.

PPE is not currently essential but is available if the volunteer prefers to have some. Social distancing (2m) must be used at all times. A Volunteer t-shirt is provided.

The project is co-ordinated by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) but we welcome volunteers from younger age groups. RSVP is a project delivered by the national volunteering charity, Volunteering Matters.

For any further information contact Rosemary Fletcher on 0737 929 6087
