Committee Member - The Scaladale Centre

  • VO83729
  • Home-based volunteering, Board/trustee role

If you live in Lewis or Harris, LHYCA is looking for a new Committee Member of The Scaladale Centre. Meetings are held monthly, currently via video link during the Coronavirus pandemic, and there is an AGM. No specific skills and/or experience required - could appeal to a very practical person who is prepared to pitch in around the centre, or a good admin person who might be happy to take minutes or apply for funding. Opportunities for children of Committee Members to take part in volunteering and activities. Could you be a part of the Scaladale family and help shape the future of the Centre?

Organisation aims and objectives

Scaladale is an Activity Centre owned and run by the Lewis and Harris Youth Clubs Association*. The centre is run on a not for profit basis and we try our best to keep prices accessible to folk from all walks of life. We are open to all and look forward to welcoming you. Scaladale's purpose is to provide local young people with exciting opportunities to go out, discover and learn about the incredible environment we live in here on the Isle of Harris. By booking a holiday or activity with us you are supporting our important work with local children and young people.
