Description

STAMP is a project run by young people, for young people. Our project is member-led so your skills and ideas are extremely valuable to us! The STAMP project supports 16-25-year olds to gain the skills, experience and confidence to challenge gender inequality in the media.

As a STAMP member you will:

· Meet other young feminists
· Learn about feminism + how to use your voice to make change
· Raise awareness + campaign for gender equality
· Have access to training opportunities in digital media, journalism, public speaking and more

Organisation aims and objectives

To promote the welfare and relieve distress of women and girls who have experienced rape and/or any other form of sexual violence or exploitation at any time in their lives, by providing confidential information and support services. Also to raise awareness of the above issues with other agencies and local communities.

Frequency and commitment details

Commitment of 6 Months for 3 Hours Monthly

Restrictions

This opportunity is specifically for young people. It is home-based and online at the moment due to COVID-19. The possibility to move forward with in-person membership meetings & activities will be regularly reviewed in-line with Government guidance.
