Description

Please note: Due to current Scottish Government guidance, no face to face element of Scouts will take place. We are only using virtual means to contact volunteers and children.

While we might not be meeting in person just now, we are meeting through Zoom and conducting activities.

Ready to change lives? There has not been a better time to find out about what Scouts do. Every year we help 5000 Young People across the North East of Scotland enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors, interact with others, gain confidence and reach their full potential. Working alongside our youth members are thousands of adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available, every group is different which means there will be a role for you in a way that you want to help.

We offer flexible volunteering opportunities to suit you and our organisation would be delighted to talk to anyone who can offer their time when they can and in a way they are comfortable doing so.

Volunteering with us is easy, fun and offers many opportunities for gaining externally recognised qualifications. Scouts offers once in a lifetime experiences for both our youth and adults members, such as trips to America, Romania, Uganda, Norway and we even have two members heading to Antarctica in 2021. Having a Regional Role means you get to make those experiences happen by supporting the operation of our sections.

How much time you give is up to you, and you don’t need any previous experience and whatever you choose we’ll make sure you’re properly trained and supported. This looks great on your CV and at job interview and makes you stand out from the crowd. Are you ready to make a difference to the lives of local youth people and reach your potential? Get in touch now.
