Strathmore Cricket Club is keen to make the game available to people of all ages and abilities.

It has piloted Walking Cricket for adults and is keen to develop this to run on a regular basis all year round. This session is designed to encourage adults involved to stay physically active. It is also a social opportunity for them, with the emphasis on fun, not competition. Sessions last for about an hour and involve a mix of skills practice and game playing

This opportunity would be of interest to people looking to in work with adults in a learning, care or sports setting. It would also be of interest to people who want to develop their skills in engaging with people generally.

Organisation aims and objectives

Provide quality opportunities for involvement in cricket to people living in the Forfar area


Experience required: · Good spoken communication · Ability to build relationships · Enthusiasm, reliability & good organisation There is no formal training required and no prior experience of cricket is required as the emphasis is on working with people in a learning and caring setting.
