Strathmore Cricket Club is committed to making opportunities to play the game available to as many people as possible. It normally offers after school opportunities in local primary schools and is keen to develop opportunities for S1 and 2 students at Forfar Academy and has delivered cricket sessions as part of the programme in youth work organisations – including Cubs, Scouts, Guides and youth clubs.
These opportunities would involve leading or supporting sessions – normally about one hour – offering children and young people of different ages opportunities to play cricket games with a softball.
This opportunity would be suitable for someone with an interest in working with children – in childcare, education or sports development. No prior knowledge or experience of playing cricket is required.
Provide quality opportunities for involvement in cricket to people living in the Forfar area

Experience required: · Good spoken communication – with children and their parents
· Ability to build relationships with young children
· Enthusiasm, reliability & good organisation
No prior experience of cricket is required as the emphasis is on working with people in a learning and caring setting.
