Assisting in the growing and maintenance of the garden areas within the farm. General gardening tasks need to be undertaken - sowing, potting on, watering, digging, weeding, pruning etc. There is possible opportunity to help with environmental programmes on the farm in the future.

Organisation aims and objectives

LOVE aims to support vulnerable individuals by using innovative ways to engage them in learning. We aim to improve the education and life chances of children, young people and adults, as well as their families. Services are predominantly provided to those who have missed out on education for a variety of reasons and we have a specific focus on those with additional support needs.










2 hours a week minimum


Experience required: Essential Basic knowledge of gardening. Ability to carry out physical tasks. Desirable Developed knowledge of how to grow a variety of plants, particularly fruit and vegetables, and how to use gardening tools.

Training details: Contact information from to be filled out. Basic overall site induction. An introduction to the garden area including tool shed and tools. PVG Membership will be undertaken by the farm.
