During this pandemic we are looking for volunteers who are willing to support groups and organisations who are involved in making items such as scrubs and face masks. Volunteers will be supported by the Market Place Lead, provided with pick-up and drop-off lists and an ID badge to ensure they are able to undertake the task.
As a transport volunteer you'll be contacted to confirm you are able to carry out a delivery, after which you will receive an email with the details. We aim to give as much notice as possible for each delivery but may also contact you for same-day requests.
You must have no underlying health conditions, don't get a flu jag and be under 70 years old to be a Community Hub COVID-19 response volunteer.
Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire (SCIO) connects and supports volunteering, social enterprising activity and voluntary groups to make East Renfrewshire a better place to live.
