Description

Into Work help disabled people and people with health conditions find, build and maintain great jobs. We continue to deliver our support during the covid-19 pandemic and know that disabled people and people with health conditions require our support now as much as ever We provide personalised employment advice for people who live in Edinburgh, East Lothian and Mid Lothian. We are looking for three suitably skilled, values-driven people to join our Board of Directors, specifically in the areas of Business Development, Fundraising and Marketing, and we are particularly keen to hear from you if you already have experience in either of these areas.
We believe these are the skills that will help sustain, grow and develop Into Work during this extremely challenging and uncertain time and into the future.

Organisation aims and objectives

Into Work believes work matters to everyone …including people with disabilities. We have over 25 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector supporting people with long-term health conditions and disabilities to achieve their goal of both finding and keeping a paid job.

6-weekly Board meetings lasting approximately 2 hours, as well as any work arising from Board meetings.

Restrictions

Experience required: We are looking for 3 volunteer Directors, with expertise in the areas of Business Development, Fundraising and Marketing.
Travel details: Currently, work will take place from home but normally the Board of Directors will meet at Norton Park, 57 Albion Road, Edinburgh, EH7 5QY.
Minimum age: 18
