  • VO83408

With the support of Volunteer Centre Borders, you could plan projects, support young people in having a voice in the Third Sector, help local charities, help those isolated by planning activities they could take part in, share a skill online, encourage your peers to informally volunteer, promote the Saltire awards scheme...all with benefits to get training and various awards along the way! This is open to anyone from 8 - 25 years of age.

This role is designed to encourage young people in the Scottish Borders to get involved in volunteering and to help their communities and their peers despite the social restrictions we are currently facing. We will be encouraging each ambassador to take the lead in the way they want to capture volunteering – do they want to encourage young people to do a virtual fundraiser (bake together and raise money), do they want to make a moving video to put on Volunteer Centre Borders YouTube channel to show the positive stories of their community etc. There is so much an Online Volunteering Ambassador could do. We are looking for 2/3 Ambassador for each area of the Borders and we need you now!
