About Us
The RNLI’s Lifeboat Station in Arbroath is looking for volunteers to join the existing team in both Shore Crew & Boat Crew Roles. Established in 1803, Arbroath is one of the oldest lifeboat stations in Scotland and the last Scottish station with a slipway. The station is currently home to a Mersey class all-weather lifeboat and a D class inshore lifeboat.

The impact you will make
These roles will help us save lives at sea by assisting with the safe launch and recovery of the lifeboat on service and exercise. You’ll also help ensure that our lifeboats are in a state of permanent readiness by crewing the lifeboat on service and exercise, under the command of the Helm.
What you will be doing
Assist with the launch and recovery of the lifeboat(s) on service and exercise
Maintain competence under the Competency Framework for the role
Contribute to the overall upkeep of the station, lifeboats and equipment

Live or work within close proximity of the station and be between 18 and 65 years of age
