Retail Volunteer

Description

There are opportunities to work front or back of house in our new retail operation in Leith Walk, from till work to merchandising and window dressing. The back shop is where all the preparation happens, with the sorting, steaming and labelling of items for sale. There are roles in social media cover, general housekeeping, admin, gift aid promotion, brand research and customer care. We run a friendly sociable team in a busy, popular shop and would love to welcome some new volunteers to join us.

Organisation aims and objectives

The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. When the crisis is over, we help people recover and move on with their lives.
