Description

The Morning Call service gives a short check in call, currently Monday to Friday, to vulnerable and lonely adults with an aim of helping them feel more connected, safer and valued. Where requested, reminders are provided.

• Can you spare an hour or two between 8am and 11am, one or more mornings a week?
• Do you have access to a phone?
• Do you have internet access?
• Do you like to have a chat?

We are looking for volunteers to make morning calls. This involves calling individuals at home to say “Hi, how are you?” and pass on reminders as required, this is followed by completing an online monitoring form for each call. Each call takes just a couple of minutes including monitoring.

Full training is provided and staff are always on hand to offer support, we cover out of pocket expenses as per our company policy.
