An opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and suitably experienced individual to join the Board of Fife Sports and Leisure Trust.
As a Director you are responsible for overall supervision and control of the activities of the Company. You must clearly understand the aims and objectives of the Company and ensure that the management of staff, finances and other resources are carried out to fulfil these aims only.

We are keen to appoint an individual to the Board who has a strong business background with excellent financial oversight. Organisation aims and objectives

Fife Sports & Leisure Trust (FSLT) operate and manage sport & leisure facilities on behalf of Fife Council. FSLT has a dedicated Health & Physical Activity Team who work with a range of health professionals to promote the mental and physical benefits of an active lifestyle. Our Active Option 2, Cardiac Rehabilitation & Move More programmes target improvements in long term conditions as well as encourage more active lifestyles as a preventative approach to reducing the prevelance of health risks broughty about by physical inactivity.










14 hours per year/3 years


Experience required: Good business acumen Good knowledge of the sports, recreation and physical activity industry Experience in providing strategic direction with the ability to work as part of a team Understanding of Board, executive and staff responsibilities Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to FSLTs values, principles and ethos
Travel details: Meetings take place in the Music Institute, Dunfermline, KY12 7JA
Minimum age: 16

Expenses details: Reasonable expenses incurred in attendance at meetings or when undertaking duties on behalf of the Board will be reimbursed
