Description

Belville Community Gardens are looking for volunteers who have Infection Control experience. We are looking for volunteers who are professional cleaners/caretakers or someone with a similar background.

Organisation aims and objectives

Belville Community Garden Trust (BCGT) is a registered Scottish charity set up in October 2014 to bring community groups and individuals together in a deprived area of the East End of Greenock. The garden is a regeneration project developing derelict wasteland following demolition of high rise flats. The aim of our organisation is to build a community around improving lifestyles, health and well-being, primarily through gardening and horticulture. We aim to break down social barriers for all ages, offering new learning experiences, improved community relationships, a sense of pride in the environment and improved mental and physical health.
