Researching and identifying key contacts and the target audience of each radio programme. Writing research notes to brief the production team. Promoting radio programmes and podcasts in our monthly e-newsletter. Monitoring programme reach and listener numbers. Capturing feedback from our Listener and Readers panel.Capturing feedback from our programme audience. Administrative tasks associated with production including arranging consent forms, organising meetings, organising travel, etc.

Organisation aims and objectives

Pain Concern is a charity providing information and support to people with pain and those who care for them, whether family, friends or healthcare professionals. For over 7 million people in the UK living with persistent pain is a part of everyday life. Although there is usually no cure, people who receive the appropriate treatment, information and support can manage their condition effectively. We provide a quarterly magazine, Pain Matters, and that people can email subs@painconcern.org.uk, for a free trial subscription for a year.

Experience required: Educated to degree level provided. Previous experience or training in the world of ‘media’ is not necessary. This is a chance to boost your CV whilst doing something worthwhile. By joining us you will join a fast-growing and respected service.
Travel details: Newcraighall Road, EH15 3HS, occasionally work at home it is possible. We are flexible.
