We all need to stay at home to protect ourselves and others. However, those who are well and not at risk can provide essential support for their family, friends and neighbours who cannot leave the house.

Fundraiser Volunteer

  • VO81994

Description

Mearns Kirk Helping Hands run a variety of groups and activities to support health and wellbeing and reduce social isolation. Some of our groups are sustained through small charges, others run for free but are reliant on donations. We would like to increase what we can offer through our groups and activities through generating additional funds. A volunteer fundraiser would help MKHH to think of fun and creative ways of raising funds as well as organising and running fundraising events, with the support of the staff team

Organisation aims and objectives

A charity aimed to help improve the health and wellbeing of the local community, with volunteers being at the heart of what we do. Some of the work includes supporting people with dementia and their carers' and helping others become more connected in their community. We are a dynamic and evolving charity and are looking to expand on all the good work we do with the help of additional volunteers
