Description

EATS Rosyth is an award-winning community-based growing, cooking & sharing charity operating a community hub, community garden and community orchard. It is looking for someone with corporate governance skills to sit on the board. The charity has an ever-expanding volunteer base along with a growing team of committed staff. It is looking for an experienced board-level trustee to ensure it has appropriate corporate governance controls and strategies in place.

Organisation aims and objectives

We grow, cook and share food in our community. Working to reduce food waste and provide community spaces for education and bringing people together.

Restrictions

Experience required: Strategic and practical knowledge of financial reporting and accounting.
Travel details: Meetings are held circa 10 times a year in Rosyth for a few hours.
Minimum age: 16

Expenses paid: Yes
Expenses details: EATS Rosyth pay reasonable travel rates and reiburse colunteers every month. Mileage rate is 45p/mile.
