Helping Hands for Butterflies voluntee

  • VO81004
  • One-off volunteering

Description

Can you help us to help the butterflies in your area? Volunteers are needed to help us to create and look after new wildflower meadows in parks in Hamilton and Blantyre. You can help with sowing wildflower seeds, cutting the meadow, and removing weeds from it. Volunteers are also being trained to identify and record butterflies so we can see how their populations are doing.
Meadow events and butterfly identification training workshops in South Lanarkshire will be organised and advertised on an ongoing basis.
