Description

After a successful campaign to save the 15th century Walled Garden for community use and enjoyment, the Friends group is anticipating an exciting future as part of the green spaces of the forthcoming Granton Waterfront Development. We are seeking trustees of all ages and backgrounds to expand our managing committee as we continue.

Organisation aims and objectives

To protect and restore the 15thC Walled Garden that was once part of the now-demolished Granton Castle. In doing this we aim to create a thriving, sustainable and productive community garden and heritage gateway to Edinburgh's waterfront through a community-led approach that will be accessible to existing and new populations and will contribute to community integration and cohesion.
