Fantastic opportunity to be a Social Media Volunteer at C-Change Scotland:

• Identify opportunities and themes for social media content in relation to the organisation.
• Work with other Social Media account holders to ensure content is relevant, accessible and engaging.
• Work towards increasing social media presence in the local area.
• Communicating with users through social media platforms i.e. Messenger etc.
• Monitoring our social media channels and responding to all customer queries and complaints and alerting the appropriate manager.
• Supporting and Liaising with Media Coordinator in the delivery of social media content.

Our work is based on a Human Rights Approach, empowering people to live their life to its fullest potential whilst being active citizens within their community. Dates-n-mates actively supports meaningful relationships for adults with learning disabilities in a fun and safe environment.

Experience required: • Excellent written communication skills, spelling, grammar and punctuation. • Be able to work across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). • Ability to work efficiently within a small team and individually. • Extreme attention to detail.
Travel details: Opportunity can be based at home however, the volunteer would be expected to work at our office on a regular basis (based at 2 Poynernook Road, Aberdeen, AB11 5RW). Some travel would also be expected depending on the need of the content.

Expenses details: Volunteers would submit an expense claim form which is processed on a monthly basis.
Training details: Good support and training provided to all volunteers. Includes: • Induction Training. • Adult & Child Support and Protection Training. • On-going Support & Development. • Other relevant mandatory training as required.
