New Moray Lets Coordinator

  • VO80725

New Moray LETS (Local Exchange Trading System) is a community group based in Forres, which lets members trade goods and services using a simple mutual credit system.

Everyone can get involved and everyone has something to offer. Our members include carers, gardeners, computer experts, labourers, organic farmers, decorators, child-minders, therapists, tutors and many others. We publish a quarterly Directory, hold regular Trade Fairs in Forres Town Hall, and have a lively Facebook page where members trade with each other.

We are seeking a volunteer(s) to help us co-ordinate these exchanges and help us to grow this thriving network.
The role includes: helping to stimulate trading by all members, ensuring members stick to the Rules of LETS, manage LETS balance of account and maintain it around zero each year, help to promote New Moray LETS when and where appropriate.
