Volunteer Board Member (Trustee)

This is an exciting time to join our Board, in addition to contributing your own skills, knowledge and experience, you will have the opportunity to access training and develop new skills whilst playing a crucial role in continuing to shape the future of our organisation. As a Board member you will provide support to statically manage the organisation and uphold the interests of the local community by ensuring that service delivery reflects their needs. Ideally, we are currently looking for people who:
• Live or work in Craigshill or close by
• Have a genuine interest in the future of community services in the area and;
• Have between 4 and 6 hours to spare each month

Organisation aims and objectives

Craigsfarm Community Development Project (CFCDP) is here to promote the social, physical, mental and economic wellbeing of the Craigshill Community. We do this by providing a safe and inclusive place, where people can come together to socialise, lead and take part in community projects.











Experience required: Most important is experience of and interest in the Craigshill community, ideally as a resident, past resident, and/ or from working in the area. In addition, experience in administration and/or finance management and /or human resources would be an advantage.
Travel details: Craigshill or close by.
Minimum age: 18

Expenses details: Some mileage and expenses to attend training or events related to our work.
Taster available: Yes
Taster details: Attend a meeting at the Hub with the existing Board Members or Hub Manager.
Training details: Entirely dependent on previous experience.
