Description

To cover reception and the main electronic switchboard for short shifts either mornings, afternoons or over lunchtimes. You will answer all calls to the training school passing on to relevant department, welcome all visitors to the site and provide a helpful reception service to all visitors, volunteers and staff. This may include volunteer boarders when they arrive to drop off and pick up dogs in the morning and evening. Being aware of the fire evacuation procedures and having knowledge of where the first aid box is located. Passing on details of any messages to the appropriate member of staff in a timely manner.
The role will be based at the Guide Dogs Training Center located in Forfar, Angus*

Experience required: You need to be comfortable with using Microsoft software such as Outlook and an electronic switchboard
Travel details: The volunteer would be expected to travel to the Guide Dogs Training Centre in Forfar, Angus.
Minimum age: 18
